First Lady works for strong foster care programs
Almost 8,000 children are in promote care throughout the Commonwealth. Approaching 50 percent are 13 and older. These children are in urgent need of promote parents and, representing many of them, a “forever kin.” The Virginia Division of Communal Services (VDSS) is asking families, couples and individuals to ajar up their hearts and homes to a promote offspring. Foremost Lady Anne Holton created the For Keeps promote anxiety initiative in 2007. It was founded on the trust that every offspring deserves and needs a “forever kin.” Beneath her direction, a numeral of foster care improve efforts were successfully passed this year.
